McNaughton's undertook the landscaping of this property, in both the back and front gardens, working closely with the client and architect on the design of the garden. As the aim was to make the angles and layout match the house and garage, we introduced sections at 45 degree angles to each other.
The project altered most of the garden to somer degree, aspects included; Front drive in golden pea beach, car port and paths paved with Acheson and Glover Country cobbles which are continued in use to edge the beds around the driveway and paths, raised oak sleeper beds at the rear of the house, renovation of the entire existing lawn and implementing newly seeded lawn areas, porcelain patio steps, all around drainage and tree planting.
The project was very interesting to be a part of the team were very happy with the outcome!
We were proud to be cited in "GRAND DESIGNS MAGAZINE" where the project was exhibited, as you can see from the pictures below.
“We engaged McNaughton's to complete all our outside works after a major house renovation. The project comprised two main parts (1) Rear garden landscaping, including grading and re-seeding a large lawn, building a raised bed in Oak, constructing steps, etc. (2) Constructing a path and front drive parking area in cobbles.
Prior to the project starting Hamilton McNaughton made several visits to clarify the requirements and submitted a fixed price quote. We found him to be extremely helpful and creative during this phase.
Once the work started, an excellent team were present for about a month, led by the very impressive Cameron. We found them to be polite and friendly, hardworking, good time keepers, sensitive and considerate to our neighbours, professional, with a real attention to detail. The work was finished on budget and by our deadline. We are delighted with the outcome.
I would wholeheartedly recommend McNaughton's.
